Electronic Drive system

To personalise the Compactus® mobile shelving system, you can opt for an electronic drive system. This features an electronic user interface with an energy-saving mode. To access an aisle, you can either use a small handle or the touchscreen. The Dynamic II model has a range of standard and optional features to choose from.

operation

Motion control

Our “soft start soft stop” system minimizes vibration within your system. This features a gentle start and end to any movement, ensuring a smooth transition. This feature is essential when safeguarding fragile artefacts and museum collections.

Operation

Block Movement

The electronic mobile shelving system enables the user to precisely move up to 21 aisles at the same time. This ensures your items are always protected, and guarantees a seamless, efficient process for your employees.

operation

remote control

We have introduced the Control Master function to our Dynamic II mobile storage systems. Thanks to the Dynamic II ControlMaster® app, you can conveniently access the correct aisle straight from your phone or tablet. Also, the app features a complete collection management system, for added convenience.

Safety Features

Blockage detection (MCMS)

For added safety, our electronic drive uses a Motor Current Monitoring System (MCMS). This can identify even the slightest increase in pressure exerted against a moving shelving unit. Should this be flagged, the shelving unit will initiate a safety stop and will retract by roughly 100mm to ensure that no persons or objects are entrapped.

Safety Features

Photocells

Based on the length and weight of the mobile shelving unit, photocells will be positioned on the underside of the mobile base. Should an object or person disrupt the light beam of the photocell, the mobile shelving unit will halt automatically.

Safety features

Safetymaster®

To prioritise safety, our SafetyMaster® offers multiple systems within one sleek unit, ensuring the security of both products and users.

Passive safety

Safety features

Visual safety (Passive safety)

This function prompts users to verify whether an open aisle is occupied by another user. It confirms the aisle’s emptiness by touching both control panels located to the left and right of the open aisle. Only if this is confirmed will the system permit the user to open an open aisle.

Emergency

Manual override

In the event of a system error, our electronic system includes a backup function that grants access to the system’s contents. By pressing the manual override button situated at the bottom of the user interface, you may bypass the system software and open an aisle.
The system will ignore any sensor input, so you must hold down the button during movement as a safety measure. If an aisle is locked off via the access control, you have to authorise access to the aisle before the manual override is enabled.

fire park

Emergency

Fire pARK

You have the option of connecting the Bruynzeel system to a building fire alarm. If the fire alarm is triggered, the system will transition automatically into the “fire park” position. This creates a small gap between all mobile units to extinguish the fire or track its position. As the system moves, a warning alarm will sound.

Battery Backup

Emergency

Battery back-up

During a power failure, the battery backup will seamlessly take over the power supply, allowing users to access the electronic installations. This feature ensures uninterrupted functionality for at least 30 minutes under normal use, subject to the weight and number of mobiles.

RFID

Access & Security

Access control

The Dynamic II system features Access Control, enabling the locking of aisles via a PIN code or RFID access card. This ensures that only select personnel have access to the aisle. For enhanced security, we offer the option of an external card reader, which merges access control of the mobile shelving system with preexisting building access control systems.

Access & Security

Securitymaster®

A block of mobiles must have the capacity to be locked either electronically or mechanically. Electronic locking is designed to identify and prevent forced entry attempts while emitting an alarm sound. Aisles secured with the Access Control feature will be automatically locked. Also, listed items are concealed in the Dynamic II ControlMaster® app, for any users who do not have authorised access rights.

Functional Features

Ventilation mode

The system features a user-programmable ventilation mode that enables airflow for a predetermined time period. This can be set to any day of the week. Custom automation can also be created, for example, “activate ventilation mode two minutes after last activity”.

Functional features

Library mode

Facilities such as libraries need unrestricted access to all aisles for a specific period of the day. Our system provides the ability to create aisles of 800mm to 1200mm between every mobile shelving unit. The Dynamic II electronic mobile system boasts cutting-edge safety features, including a “library mode”.
Library Mode allows one of two options: either all aisles will open for full system access, or all aisles will close to free up floor space for events or presentations. Using the PIN code on the displays, Library Mode allows you to fully utilize the system during business hours, or free up the space for gatherings.

Functional Features

Integrated (smart) Aisle lighting

Thanks to Bruynzeel’s LED aisle lighting for high-density systems, the need for additional lighting has become obsolete. Our LED lighting is installed on every cabinet of the mobile storage system, but it only illuminates the open aisle. In the Dynamic II app, you can configure how long the aisle lighting remains on, so you never waste any power. By utilising our LED lighting your energy usage and CO2 emissions can be significantly reduced.
