When personalising your Compactus® mobile shelving system you have the option of using a mechanical drive system. The system includes hand cranks, allowing you to either move a single base to access an aisle or use one hand crank to move multiple bases simultaneously.

Motion control

The motion control mechanism of our mechanical mobile shelving system is customisable, according to how the hand crank is used. Users can adjust the speed and control, ensuring seamless movement control and accurate positioning of the shelving units.

With this mechanical mobile shelving system, you can move an average of 5 aisles at once, making the retrieval process smoother and more efficient. Remember, the number of aisles you can move simultaneously depends on the weight of your stored item. This flexible system can adapt to different weights, to always accommodate your needs.

Aisle lock

To avoid any safety hazards, you can lock the aisles, meaning they are unmovable. Bruynzeel has a number of locking options. You have two options: utilise the push and pull lock in the hand crank or opt for an integrated key lock. This key lock gives you complete access control.

Mechanical Safetymaster

In the event of an emergency, you can press any point along the plinth found at the bottom of the mobile bases. This will quickly trigger the emergency brake system.

Access control

A key feature of our mechanical mobile shelving system is the access control. This allows you to restrict access to items using either an interlock or key lock system. This means that the system can only operated by authorised personnel. This enhanced security system is the superior choice for facilities where privacy and limited access are crucial.
