FLEMISH GOVERNMENT ARCHIVE, BELGIUM
The Flemish Government completely rebuilt the Old Levi’s depot in Vilvoorde to meet the requirements for archive storage of documentation for its government ministries. Of particular importance was meeting the rigorous standards for the protection and storage of confidential documents.
The solution The Flemish Government Archive contains mobile storage systems with a total storage capacity of 22,000 linear metres. The mobile shelving chosen by the Flemish Government allows secure storage of confidential information. Several hallways can be assigned to specific individuals or departments, automatically locking out those without clearance, and the interface provides even more security for stored documents with safety and climate control systems. All the stringent safety and environmental standards set by the Flemish government have been met.
